Cost : Classes are grouped by monthly sessions. The cost per month varies depending on how many classes are scheduled to be held. The cost for a month of classes is equal to the # of classes scheduled to be held x $12.50 . Payment is due one week prior to the 1 st class of the month.
Example: To take a class on Wednesdays in September 2005
Classes start on 9/14, there will be a total of 3 classes in the month of September.
The total cost to take Art Lessons on Wednesdays in September is
3 classes x $12.50 per class = $37.50
To continue the same class in October 2005, the cost is
4 classes x $12.50 = $50.00
To Register for a Session of Classes : please complete and return the 2005 -2006 Classes in Fine Arts Registration Form with a deposit of $15.00. This Deposit is non-refundable unless the class is full or cancelled. The balance for your first session of classes is due on the first day of class.
Since most of my students choose to continue their art lessons for more than one month, once a student has finished their first session of classes, I automatically reserve the same day and time for them to continue their classes the next month. Payment is due in full the last week of the month for the next month of classes. This will reserve your seat in the next session of classes. (If you don't plan to continue art lessons, I would appreciate it if you would let me know ASAP. I often have a waiting list of people who would like to start lessons. I also schedule people to help me in the studio based on the number of students signed up for each class.)
Policy for missed classes : Occasionally people get ill, have emergencies, or major events that come up. If you need to miss a class, please call me (Home 594-8743 or Cell 355-3245 leave message if not answered) BEFORE the start of the class that will be missed. No make up classes will be available if I am not notified prior to a missed class.
If I am notified before the missed class, I will prepare a coupon for 1 makeup class only during a given month. It is the responsibility of the student to pick up the coupon at the next class (or any time prior). The coupon will entitle the student to one make-up class and will expire 4 weeks from the missed class. It is the responsibility of the student to schedule their make-up class time with me in advance. If arrangements are not made and the class time is not made up before the coupon expires, the student will forfeit that class time. There will be no refunds for missed classes.
