About the Instructor
|
As a child I enjoyed drawing and painting but didn't get serious about my art until 1995 when I enrolled in an art class with a local Rochester Artist. Since then I have taken lessons from numeruos Rochester area artists as well as nationally known artists. In 2004 I opened my art studio in Spencerport, NY.
I find nature most inspiring and tend to paint landscapes, wildlife, and florals. I enjoy creating paintings utilizing many different mediums including Oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, and colored pencils. I also enjoy creating works of art with clay, fabric, and stained glass.
After years of painting and learning how to apply different techniques and elements to my art, I now enjoy passing these skills on to others. As a creator of art, I look forward to seeking out new methods and techniques to continue developing the artist in myself and to offer new techniques to my students.
There is no greater gift than seeing the excitement in the face of a child or an adult who has created a piece of art that they feel good about.
